  • Tim Dumbleton, CEO

    Tim is the Chief Executive Officer at MicroGrid Networks and was a co-founder. Tim has more than 25 years of experience in design and construction, primarily with large projects in New York City. Tim’s interest in energy infrastructure started in 2018 when he met engineers who were looking to install a battery on a project he was building.

    Prior to joining MGN, Tim owned and operated TADA, a Design and Development office in NYC where he served as principal in a dozen real estate developments in residential and commercial properties. Tim also was former Managing Partner of TEN Arquitectos in New York and Mexico City.

    Tim has a Masters Degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed architect in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Texas and is NCARB Certified.

  • Philippe Habib, CFO

    Philippe Habib is the Chief Financial Officer at MicroGrid Networks and brings over 20 years of experience in financial management and leadership. Philippe oversees all aspects of MGN’s financial operations, including financing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, tax, compliance, and governance. Philippe has a strong background in private equity and project finance, having worked with various companies in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Philippe previously served as CFO of Astoria Energy and Astoria Energy II, two of the largest and most efficient Independent Power Producers in New York City.

    Philippe holds a Bachelors in Accountancy from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) and is a Certified Public Accountant (Canada) specialized in management.

  • Douglas Sherman, CCO

    Doug serves as Chief Commercial Officer of MGN. Doug is responsible for managing the power trading activities at MGN, both contractually and from a merchant perspective. In addition, Doug manages MGN’s relationships with trading and market counterparties. Prior to joining MGN, Doug was a Director at Freepoint Commodities where he was responsible for the origination of structured physical commodity deals involving power, gas, oil, and metals. Prior to Freepoint, Doug was with the Deutsche Bank Commodities team focusing on commodity derivatives for corporates and municipalities and also working with the Natural Resources banking teams on structured derivative transactions. Doug was also previously a senior debt lender at Beal Bank, GE Capital, ABB Project & Trade Finance, and Credit Lyonnais. As a lender, Doug worked on gas-fired, coal-fired, and geothermal generation deals in the IPP sector and was involved in financings in excess of $3 billion.

    Doug has a BSEE from Union College (Schenectady, NY) and an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
